Uluwatu temple was built in the 11th century,the temple has some of the most exquisite architecture in Bali. Here on this abstact work I try to express the mighty powers from the holy spirit of Uluwatu by expressing the unique harmony between earth, ocean, the sky, the sun and the moon. My abstract work represents the mortality influence on Uluwatu hill during the dark moon(New Moon). Dark Moon is a very special day for Balinese.
Offerings are made in all  temples, asking for peace and harmony and
blessings from the gods  by giving sacrifices to the devil or Bhuta.That is the meaning of “Dark Moon on  Uluwatu.
